Technology Stabilization Recommendations Presented to the Medford School Board

MEDFORD, MA - At a special session of the Medford Public School's (MPS) Board, TECedge presented its recommendations to stabilize the technology infrastructure in the schools. TECedge, an education technology consulting firm based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, works exclusively with educational organizations nationwide-K-12, higher education, and public libraries-to implement cost-effective technology solutions to support and enhance learning.

The report is the culmination of a district-wide study to assesses and recommends short-term objectives and long-term strategies for improvement in the areas of:

• Network Reliability and Performance
• Technology Organization and Service Delivery
• E-Rate Funding

In addition to a presentation summary, TECedge delivered a 98 page report that included configuration, hardware, software, local and wide area network, and staffing recommendations, as well as the funding impact of the recommendations.
