Our E-Rate Consulting Services
TECedge offer a full range of E-rate Services. Schools and libraries in Massachusetts can obtain these services through the ITS33 state contract.
E-Rate Planning Services – TECedge assists schools and libraries in establishing a technology plan based on district priorities that identifies needs, recommends solutions, then procures and implements eligible services and products.
- Identify expenditures eligible for E-rate (phone and cell serves, long distance, etc.)
- If no plan exists, create E-rate technology plan for approval by state
- Update existing technology plan for new services for approval by state
- Identify new projects eligible for E-rate funding
- Review/recommend strategies to maximize free and reduced lunch eligibility
E-rate Procurement Services – TECedge will prepare specifications for the procurement of E-rate eligible goods or services, such as fiber based WANs, etc.
- Design bid specifications for RFP
- Prepare and file notification of E-rate bid [FCC Form 470]
- Respond to vendor questions
- Review vendor responses/ recommend bid award
E-rate Application Services – TECedge will prepare, submit, monitor and manage all district processes with respect to the E-rate program among and between the district, E-rate Administrator, and E-rate service providers.

- Respond to SLD Program Integrity Assurance Questions
- Notify start of service [FCC Form 486(s)]
- Respond to SLD questions on previous years
- Prepare and apply for recovery of overpayments [FCC Form 472 (BEAR)]
- Prepare and submit corrections / changes [FCC Form 500]
- Prepare and File Appeals
