TECedge to Help Medford Select New Student System

Medford, MA - The Medford Public Schools extended its contract with TECedge to assist then in the selection of a new student information system to be put in place by September 2006. TECedge, an education technology consulting firm based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, works exclusively with educational organizations nationwide-K-12, higher education, and public libraries-to implement cost-effective technology solutions to support and enhance learning.

TECedge will interview staff to help the district identify critical needs and send those needs to the vendors on the state bid list for student information systems.  It will then develop an evaluation process and instruments that will help Medford select the best student system for their needs.
