Medford Public Schools Chooses TECedge for Stability Checkup and Technology Staffing Assessment

MEDFORD, MA - Medford Public Schools (MPS) has awarded a competitively bid contract to TECedge, an education technology consulting firm based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. TECedge works exclusively with educational organizations nationwide-K-12, higher education, and public libraries-to implement cost-effective technology solutions to support and enhance learning.

TECedge will assess network instability and slow response times, technology organization and service delivery, and E-rate funding strategies. TECedge will recommend short-term steps and long-term strategies for improving network reliability and performance, enhancing IT staff skills and technical support, and maximizing E-rate funding. TECedge will assist and mentor district technical staff in implementing high-priority recommendations.

Medford Public Schools has 4,800 students and delivers instruction in nine schools.
